Originally conceived for a Government building in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the demands where beauty, maintenance, durability and cost. The criteria was to push the pieces towards the simplest of form while maintaining a double function without losing the haptic nature of the material. The SQ line plays the back bone of ARTLESS' "indestructible" aproach. ARTLESS started using 2" solid walnut and other woods as a way to create furniture that was aesthetically pleasing but nearly indestructible under everyday use.

ARTLESS solid woods have hand oiled finish which allows them to age gracefully, requiring minimum maintenance and care.
